The Township of Langley and the RCMP are committed to involving the community in public safety. The new Municipal Hall Civic Centre includes the Willowbrook Community Policing Office (CPO) and provision has also been made in the new Langley Events Centre for space for a future CPO. Together with CPO’s in Walnut Grove, Aldergrove, and Brookswood, there is a huge volunteer base committed to working with the RCMP on community safety. Council has also recently incorporated the pilot program, Safer Cities, into an ongoing Township program working with volunteers to increase traffic safety particularly around schools. Together we continue to support and expand the RCMP Auxiliaries program.
