On April 7, 2008 Mayor Alberts and a majority of Council voted in favour of a motion to reaffirm the commitment to implement full time firefighters at the Walnut Grove Fire Hall (Hall 8) in January of 2009 and also to provide full time firefighters at the Murrayville Fire Hall (Hall 6) in 2010.
