On Tuesday, June 24, the mayors of Langley Township and Abbotsford will ride the bus to celebrate the success of the new #21 Aldergrove Connector bus.
The bus, which began service in September to provide a direct commute between Aldergrove and Abbotsford, is transporting an average of 95 passengers per weekday, or about 12 rides per service hour.
There are no trips with zero passengers. The service operates daily, except Sundays.
The Abbotsford bus links directly with the TransLink bus service that runs west from Aldergrove to Surrey Central.
Township of Langley Mayor Kurt Alberts and City of Abbotsford Mayor George Ferguson will board buses in their own municipalities and meet in Aldergrove to mark this milestone. Alberts will be arriving at 12:10 p.m. and Ferguson will arrive at 12:18 p.m.
